WOODBINE — Atop a seat with a great view on a chilly morning sits a crane operator in the middle of the Woodbine Regional Wellness Center project site.
He begins slowly moving a crane arm and lowering a 25,000-pound pre-cast wall and placing it in its spot. One down.
The installation of these pre-cast walls started Monday morning, May 18, a very visible sign of the project moving ever forward.
In this Center, there will not only will be a gymnasium and indoor/outdoor pool, but it will also have STEM classrooms, among other amenities.
Sources say their hope is to have it completed by December of this year.
