WOODBINE — Diana Lind always thought it would be a “fun adventure” to be a children’s librarian.

Now, she is one. Diana officially started as the new Woodbine Carnegie Library Children’s Librarian July 14.

She replaces Wendy Doyel who moved up to the position of Library director.

“I’ve always loved books and the library,” Lind commented. So, for her, this is a great way to spend her days, at a job she loves.

Diana and her husband, Curtis, have lived in Woodbine three years in August. They have two children, Katelyn and Logan.

Prior to starting this job, Diana worked as an associate at the Woodbine School District.

During her time there, she took on a lot of different tasks and got to know hundreds and hundreds of kids.

And so many memories were created while at the School. But one of the things she will miss the most is the junior high kiddos and the sometimes random things that came out of their mouths.

“The junior high study halls, we had a lot of laughs in there,” she commented.
