Logan man continues to give back, recently added another to lengthy list of donations

LOGAN — For almost seventy years, a Logan resident has been giving back by donating blood.

Wednesday afternoon, May 19, Glenn Brewer, a former Lo-Ma School District instructor, gave blood at the Logan Community Center. It was for the 112th time.

Oh, and he also turned 90 years old May 24.

Brewer started donating many, many years ago, more specifically when he was 21 years old.

“I didn’t have any choice,” he said. “I did it in the military.” (Thank you for your service!)

But the requirement would turn into a choice that Glenn has continued to make over the past roughly seven decades.
