LOGAN — For a long time, Steve Eby has come in week after week, year after year and served the people of Logan and Harrison County as a pharmacist at Eby Drug, which has been been in his family for more than 100 years.

Late last month though, he stepped down and entered the next phase of his life, retirement.

Despite having a new owner though, the business name will remain the same.

“I enjoyed serving the people of Logan and Harrison County over the years,” said Steve. “I have made some great friends.”

Eby Drug was started in 1916 by Steve Eby’s grandfather, Robert H. Eby.

The pair then bought the Logan pharmacy, calling it Eby Drug, in 1954 and continued running it until 1974.
