The Center has four classrooms: infants, walkers to 23 months old, two-year olds and three-year olds.

WOODBINE — A positive culture and active learning environment are foundational pieces the Building Blocks Academy (BBA) has been establishing since opening its doors January 4, 2021.

Focusing on accessibility of high-quality care with dedicated staff is a primary goal for the community-based child care and education center that is located at the new CREW Center in Woodbine.

In order to be more accessible to the families of Woodbine and the surrounding areas, BBA has recently been approved to take child care assistance offered through the Iowa Department of Human Services for qualifying families.

All families should be able to utilize the care they need and desire, regardless of cost of care, said Cassie Reisz, BBA director.
